Behaviour at Orchard Infant School
At Orchard Infant School, we believe in promoting positive behaviour through restorative justice practices. This approach focuses on repairing harm caused by conflicts and fostering understanding and empathy among children. By encouraging open communication and problem-solving skills, we aim to create a supportive and respectful learning environment for all our pupils.
We also believe in the power of praise to reinforce good behaviour. By acknowledging and celebrating children's achievements and efforts, we motivate them to continue making positive choices. Our teachers and staff are dedicated to recognising and rewarding acts of kindness, responsibility, and cooperation, helping to cultivate a culture of respect and positivity within our school community.
As parents, your support in reinforcing these behaviours at home is invaluable. By modeling and encouraging positive behaviour in your children, you play a crucial role in shaping their character and social skills. Together, we can work towards fostering a sense of responsibility, empathy, and respect in our young learners, both in and out of the classroom.
